Once again, we were invited to participate with Gina of Villa Vita International Travel at the Corte Bella Italian Club dinner meeting. On Sunday evening, March 28 we distributed wine bags to all the guests as they arrived and indulged in a delicious Italian feast with presentations about travel in and around Italy, especially Emilia-Romagna the origin of Parma ham (prosciutto); the real Parmesan cheese, aged Balsamic vinegar and of course, wines.
We learned about a new travel package that includes visits to castles and kitchens - and the opportunity to learn Northern Italian style cooking from a local chef in the Italian countryside.
